Are you paying more than your MCA allows?

Your numbers

Real sales, not total deposits. Take out transfers between your own accounts, loan or advance money, owner money, refunds, and any money sent out and deposited again. Your agreement's definition of receipts controls. How to work it out.

The holdback percentage is the “specified percentage” in your agreement. If you cannot find it, start here.

What the numbers show

How to read your result

  • Allowed is what your holdback percentage works out to at the sales you typed.
  • Being debited is what your payment adds up to over the same period.
  • Difference is debited minus allowed. A positive number in red means the payment is above what the percentage allows at those sales. A negative number means it is below.
  • A difference is a reason to read your agreement and check the real debits. It is not proof, and your contract's wording controls.

How it is worked out

  • Weekly MCA: allowed per week = monthly sales × holdback % × 12 ÷ 52.
  • Daily MCA: allowed per business day = monthly sales × holdback % × 12 ÷ 252, shown per day and per week (× 5).
  • Difference = what is being debited minus what the percentage allows. Monthly figures use 52 ÷ 12 weeks, or 21 business days. Yearly figures use 52 weeks, or 252 business days.
  • This is an estimate from the numbers you type. Real reconciliation depends on your contract's wording: what counts as sales, how often you can ask for an adjustment, and what the funder needs from you.
  • The tool does not know your agreement or your real deposits, and it cannot tell you what a funder will do. A result is a reason to look closer, not a promise of any outcome.
