MCA reconciliation · Not debt relief

When sales fall, your MCA payment should too.

Many Merchant Cash Advance agreements include reconciliation: when your sales drop, your payment is supposed to drop with them. Few business owners know to ask for it. We check the MCA debits in your connected bank accounts against your agreement and your real sales, and show you what's fair.

Why: sales fell 21% after funding. The weekly debit stayed the same.

Monitoring

Check what you paid against what you signed.

Connect your business bank account once, read-only through Plaid. From then on we compare every funder debit with your agreement, so an overcharge doesn't run for months before anyone notices.

  • Read-only. Plaid lets us see your transactions. We can't move money, and no payment can be made from your account through FairMCA.
  • Two checks on each MCA debit we find. Does it match the payment amount in your contract, to the cent? And is it more than the share of your real sales the agreement allows?
  • Proof you can send. Each flag shows the bank line, the contract term and the math, ready for a reconciliation request.

Why FairMCA

An advance sold as a share of your sales should move with your sales.

A merchant cash advance is sold as a share of your future sales. That is the whole deal: sales go up, the funder collects faster; sales go down, the funder collects slower. It's built into the contract.

In practice, the payment is set once and almost never moves. Sales drop, and the same debit keeps leaving your account every day or every week. That's how a fair deal turns unfair.

FairMCA exists to hold the deal to its own terms: you pay what your agreement says, measured against the sales you actually have. Not more.

Not debt relief

We don't make your MCA go away. We make it follow your contract.

If you've looked for MCA help, you've seen debt relief and settlement offers. FairMCA is a different thing.

How it works

We go back to before you signed.

Your payment was set from your sales when the advance was funded. We rebuild that starting point and compare it with the MCA debits since.

Step 1

Connect your bank

Read-only, through Plaid. We sort your deposits into real sales: transfers between your accounts, loan money and refunds don't count.

Step 2

Add your agreements

We read each funder's holdback percentage, payment and reconciliation terms from your original signed agreement.

Step 3

Get your report

Usually the same business day: what each agreement allowed, what was taken, and the difference. If an agreement needs a person to check it, by the next business morning.

After your report

Two ways to use your report.

Your report shows each funder what your agreement allows and what was taken, from your own bank records. That turns a hard phone call into a request backed by numbers. These are the two requests it supports, and what happened when two real business owners made them.

Request 1

Ask for a lower payment

When
Your sales dropped, but the debit didn't.
What you ask for
A reconciliation: a payment that matches the share of your sales the agreement says. Where the agreement supports it, a credit for past overdebits too.
What you send
Your report, with a short request letter. There's a free template.

Real case 1 · A multi-location service business

Sales fell 21%. The payment stayed the same.

Request 2

Ask for a pause

When
The debits are pushing your account into overdraft, or you need a few weeks to recover.
What you ask for
A hardship pause: no debits, or smaller ones, for a set number of weeks. Then payments start again.
What you send
Your report and the bank records that show what the debits are doing to your account. A pause is usually up to the funder, so the case you make matters.

Real case 2 · A business owner with six advances

Six advances. $11,181 drafted every week.

Six separate drafts came out of his accounts every week, and some pushed them into overdraft. We built his hardship case from his own bank records and asked for a pause on all six.

What he was paying each week

Advance 1$1,708.48
Advance 2$2,228.58
Advance 3$2,228.58
Advance 4$820.07
Advance 5$1,269.49
Advance 6$2,926.28
$11,181.48drafted every week

What we helped him get

Advances pausedAll 6
How long4 weeks
Weekly drafts$11,181.48 → $0

Real cases, shared without names. Many reviews find no overpayment. Your result depends on your agreement and your funder. A pause moves payments later; it doesn't erase what's owed.

Make the request yourself, or with us.

Handle it yourself

Send the report with your request. You talk to your funder; the numbers do the arguing.

Negotiate with us

We plan each funder's request with you and join your calls. Nothing is agreed without your OK.

Priced per case, by funder and how much you owe. Quoted in writing before we begin. Pay in daily or weekly payments.

Keep paying while you ask. Do not stop, block or reverse MCA payments on your own. That can put you in default. Use your report to ask the funder for a reconciliation.

Pricing

Find out what's fair.

Every plan can be paid up front, by business day, by week, or once for the whole contract. Your report is usually ready the same business day you connect your bank and add your agreements. If an agreement needs a person to check it, by the next business morning.

Questions

Before you start.

Will my funder know?

No. The review is private. We don't contact your funder unless you ask us to, and nothing goes to a funder without your OK.

Is this debt relief or debt settlement?

No. We never tell you to skip a payment, and we don't charge a percentage of your debt. We check what your own agreement allows and show you the difference, for one price per business.

Is my bank login safe?

You connect through Plaid, which many banks and financial apps use. The connection is read-only: we can see transactions but cannot move money.

What if I'm not overpaying?

Then you have it in writing that your funder is drafting correctly. With the monthly check, you'll know if that changes.

What do I need to provide?

A read-only bank connection and your original signed MCA agreements. Some agreements, including loans, don't include reconciliation; your report will tell you.

I have three or four advances. Is that one price?

Yes. The price is per business and covers every MCA that business has.

Pay what you agreed to.
